Representation/ translation to buy a property
Why do I need a translator?
Unless you speak fluent Spanish you will need a translator as the Notary will not allow you to sign any official documents unless they are sure you fully understand the proceedings.
Our costs include the following:
Liaison with selling agent where applicable and vendors representatives.
Representation and translation at the Notary.
Payment of associated taxes on your behalf and registration of deeds.
Transfer of existing electric and water contracts into your name.
Liaison with bank where there is a mortgage involved.
Please note that an NIE number is compulsory to purchase a house and we strongly recommend a Spanish will – please see appropriate pages in folder for these items
